As a vegetarian, you would think Tofu is a staple in my diet. Not so much.
For some reason, I have a fear of Tofu and I don’t know why. I want to like it, I really do, but it just hasn’t happened yet. The texture, consistency (soft, medium hard – weird) colour, shape and taste all add up to a whole lot of fear of the unknown.
BUT, I am not giving up yet! This weekend conquering Tofu is at the top of my to-do list! I plan on educating myself on the different kinds of Tofu, how to drain it and then make something with it that I can actually eat. I feel like I am in grade school again and doing a science experiment- I will report back my findings next week.
