Breakfast for the Busy Bee

Breakfast is one of the meals I struggle with the most. I’ve made it my mission to start my mornings off right, after all breakfast is the most important meal of the day. But, is it just me or do all the unhealthy options seem so much easier and tastier!? Mmm, croissants, muffins and McDonalds Egg McMuffin (without meat) – SO GOOD, yet such a horrible way to start your day.
Have no fear, Greek Yogurt is here! When I’m pressed for time, my favourite go to breakfast is Oikos Greek Yogurt (honey flavor)with some granola (2 table spoons). I just discovered “Holy Crap the world’s most amazing breakfast cereal” and it makes my mornings complete (and its Canadian!). Although it’s called cereal, it more of a granola that you can add to just about anything. This combo is effortless to make and keeps you full for hours. One serving Oikos is only 90 calories with 8g of protein and 2 tablespoons of Holy Crap is 120 calories, 4.2g of protein, 23% of required daily Fibre and 13% of required daily Iron intake – WOW!
